Which devices does Beaver support?
Beaver 0.1.0 supports Macs with Apple Silicon running macOS 14 or later. This download is for the arm64 architecture; an Intel version is not currently available.
Can I open my existing Eagle library?
Yes. Beaver uses Eagle’s .library file structure and can open an existing library directly. If Eagle is already using that library, Beaver opens it in read-only mode.
Are my images uploaded for text recognition?
No. The Mac app uses Apple’s Vision framework to recognize English and Chinese text on your device. You can copy the results or find them through local search. The interactive examples on this website use sample content only.
How do I install Beaver?
Download the DMG, open it, and drag Beaver into Applications. This early release is not yet notarized by Apple.
